IT 5130: Questioning My Use of PowerPoint

After reading Tuft’s article “The Cognitive Style of PowerPoint: Pitching Out Corrupts Within” I have a new perspective on PowerPoint. I’ve been using PowerPoint as the main presentation for classroom instructors, and I question the effectiveness of this now. Why not just provide the class an agenda, and also create extra handouts that would provide more context and substance? Something for me to think about…
